Now, I'll give credit where it's due - this thing is massive. We're talking about a 9-inch tall monstrosity that'll tower over your other action figures like some kind of plastic bully. It's almost as intimidating as that wall-crawling menace Spider-Man, but at least this thing stays put on your shelf!
The detail on this Carnage figure is... well, it's impressive, I'll admit. They've captured every terrifying aspect of that escaped criminal Cletus Kasady and his symbiote. It's so lifelike, you'd think it might jump off the shelf and cause havoc in your living room! And don't get me started on his "supernaturally endowed bride-to-be" - as if we needed more super-powered troublemakers running around!
Now, Hasbro wants you to believe this is some kind of must-have collectible. They're using all sorts of marketing gimmicks to lure you in. "Bring the excitement and wonder of the Marvel Universe to your collection," they say. Ha! More like bring the nightmare of the Marvel Universe into your home!
But I'll tell you what - as much as it pains me to say it, this Carnage figure makes those Spider-Man toys look like cheap carnival prizes. It's detailed, it's imposing, and it's... dare I say it... almost worth the price tag. Almost.
So, if you're determined to waste your hard-earned money on action figures instead of subscribing to a real news source like the Daily Bugle, you might as well get this one. Just don't come crying to me when it comes to life and tries to take over the city!
And remember, it's for ages 4 and up. Because apparently, Hasbro thinks it's a good idea to introduce toddlers to symbiote-powered psychopaths. What a world we live in!
