The renowned bounty hunter, Beilert Valance, has arrived at Feriae Junction, a bustling world filled with intrigue. In a fateful encounter at a cantina, Valance takes aim and fires at Marko Tyne, a patron who finds himself in the wrong place at the wrong time. Swiftly, Valance retreats to his trusted agent, Skinker, to claim the reward for his successful hit. However, instead of credits or jewels, Valance's payment comes in the form of a collection of rebuilt droids.
Driven by a deep-seated animosity, Valance harbors an irrational hatred towards droids. His disdain stems from the injuries he sustained years ago, which forced him to become a cyborg after an unfortunate encounter with an aerial torpedo. Now, he relentlessly pursues and eliminates any droid he comes across, seeking vengeance for his own suffering.
Valance's next mission is no ordinary task. He sets his sights on none other than Luke Skywalker himself. Not only does Skywalker own a droid, but he also treats them as equals, a concept that Valance finds utterly repugnant. Determined to carry out his vendetta, Valance embarks on a quest to track down the young Jedi and confront him face-to-face. The clash between these two individuals with starkly opposing views is bound to ignite sparks and reveal the complexities of their respective journeys.
