The Twilight Zone Radio Drama | Episode 1: A Kind of a Stopwatch
“Submitted for your approval... Patrick Thomas McNulty, age 41, the biggest bore on Earth.”
In this premiere episode of the nationally syndicated radio series, Hollywood star Lou Diamond Phillips takes on the role of Patrick Thomas McNulty, a man who sets back the art of conversation at least a thousand years with his meaningless words and argumentative nature. After being fired for providing 340 useless suggestions to his employer, McNulty finds himself at a local bar where a mysterious old-timer gifts him a strange family heirloom: a kind of a stopwatch.
McNulty soon discovers this is no ordinary timepiece. With a single click, he can stop the world—freezing time, people, and motion for everyone but himself. Given the gift of unlimited time, McNulty begins to misuse it for his own gain, but he is about to learn that every gift in the Twilight Zone comes with a steep price.
